日本UNIQLO進駐台灣15週年,演員許光漢、許瑋甯助陣
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Japan’s Uniqlo marked its 15th anniversary in Taiwan on Wednesday by debuting its fall-winter collection with actors Hsu Kuang-han (許光漢) and Hsu Wei-ning (許瑋甯).
This season’s theme, “Revisiting Classic,” reinterprets timeless wardrobe staples with a modern twist. The collection highlights contrasts between function and tradition, masculine and feminine, and structured tailoring and casual ease, blending them into versatile pieces designed for modern living. Uniqlo said its collaboration with the actors reflects its connection with local consumers and signals the next chapter in its LifeWear story. The upcoming collection features three designer collaborations, including Clare Waight Keller’s Uniqlo: C, Jonathan William Anderson’s JW Anderson, and Christophe Lemaire’s Uniqlo U. Waight Keller modernizes tailoring with technical fabrics, turning formal elegance into sleek, wearable pieces. Anderson injects bold experimentation, using vibrant plaids and collegiate-inspired motifs, deconstructing classic British elements for a contemporary edge. Lemaire and his team explore material combinations in the Uniqlo U “Future Layers” collection, blending Merino wool, structured nylon, and PuffTech technology with outdoor-inspired details. Indigo, basil green, and deep plum form a refined color palette, highlighting layered textures for a modern aesthetic. Hsu Kuang-han modeled a collegiate-inspired look with a ribbed shirt jacket over a JW Anderson oxford shirt, straight-leg jeans, and minimalist shoes. Hsu Wei-ning offered a softer style, pairing a corduroy shirt jacket with a HeatTech cashmere-blend turtleneck, a sleek skirt, and ballet flats, combining warmth with elegance. To mark its anniversary, Uniqlo is also releasing a Pokemon-themed collection featuring Pikachu along with Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile, available from Oct. 3. Sustainability remains a focus this fall, with a down jacket recycling program running from Oct. 3 to Nov. 30. The brand aims to collect 5,000 jackets for reuse in emergency relief or as raw materials, offering participating customers a digital coupon worth NT$100 (US$3) for every NT$1,000 spent. |
