台灣文化日首次在米蘭舉辦
Event shared Taiwanese culinary culture to locals
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The first-ever Taiwan Culture Day in Milan, organized by the Taiwan-Italy Intercultural Association and the Milan Taiwanese Association, was held over the weekend at the Tempio del Futuro Perduto. The event introduced Taiwan's culinary culture to locals and featured cooking sessions and film screenings, CNA reported. More than 700 people participated on the first day, including Taiwanese community groups from Milan, Veneto, Bologna, Rome, Tuscany, and Naples. Liang Yen-chi (梁彥祺), president of the Taiwan-Italy Intercultural Association, said the event featured four main themes: Taiwanese snacks, creative markets, cooking shows, and artistic performances. It also showcased Taiwanese businesses, creating opportunities for deeper economic and trade cooperation between Taiwan and Italy. Lin Tsan-nan (林讚南), head of Taiwan’s Milan office, praised the successful event and urged overseas Taiwanese to advance the nation’s value-based diplomacy. |
