TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Fubon Financial Holding Company said it would hire 6,700 employees this year, CNA reported on Friday. These job openings include positions for bank staff, insurance agents, securities brokers, management, and fintech talents in information technology and data science. Resume submissions are due by Mar. 31. The company will recruit approximately 60 management associates across banking, property insurance, securities, investment advisory, and futures divisions. This two-year program offers two promotions and a starting annual salary of NT$1 million (US$31,000) in the first year. General Manager Jerry Han (韓蔚廷) said Fubon is Taiwan's largest financial holding company based on market capitalization. He highlighted the company has led the industry in earnings per share for 16 consecutive years. Han said the company allocates nearly NT$150 million annually in employee fertility subsidies. It also provides paid maternity leave, prenatal checkup leave, and paternity leave exceeding the Labor Standards Act requirements. Cathay Financial Holdings is set to hire more than 7,500 employees this year. Individuals with a master's degree or higher and strong English proficiency are eligible to apply for the company's management associate program. Nan Shan Life Insurance Company will recruit 5,000 employees this year, focusing on fintech, data analytics, and database management talent. In response to the growing ESG trends, it also targets individuals with experience in financial accounting and ESG-related fields. |
