台北-香港是全球最繁忙的航線
Recovery in number of flights approaching pre-COVID levels
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – The flight route between Taipei and Hong Kong was the busiest in the world in 2024, according to airline information provider OAG Aviation. Based on airline capacity, the route offered 6.78 million seats, OAG’s annual report said. Last year, Taipei-Hong Kong was the third busiest route, though it held the top spot in 2019, the last year before the COVID-19 pandemic. Capacity on the route surged by 48% compared to last year, but was still 15% lower than in 2019. Taipei-Hong Kong showed the sharpest increase during the year as all routes across the Asia Pacific recovered following the pandemic, OAG said. The 105-minute route attracted both tourists and business travelers, with close economic and people-to-people relations between the two sides, the China Times reported. Both Taipei and Hong Kong function as regional hubs with highly effective airport services. The route was followed on the list by services between the Egyptian capital Cairo and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia with a capacity of 5.5 million seats; and the route between Seoul Inchon in South Korea and Tokyo’s Narita with 5.4 million seats. |
