Apple Vision Pro on sale in Taiwan soon
Apple Vision Pro 將在台灣開賣
Mixed-reality headset priced at NT$119,900
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Apple Vision Pro mixed-reality headset will be available in Taiwan starting Dec. 17, Apple said Tuesday (Dec. 3). The Cupertino-based company in a press release said pre-orders will begin on Thursday. The Vision Pro will start at NT$119,900 (US$3,700). Announced on June 5, 2023, the Vision Pro uses a dual-chip design, with the M2 chip providing standalone performance and the R1 chip processing input from 12 cameras, five sensors, and six microphones, per CNA. The headset’s high-resolution display system uses micro-OLED technology, offering 23 million pixels across two displays. Users can interact with an app by looking at it and tapping with two fingers. They can use voice commands to ask Siri to open and close apps, play media, answer questions, and more. VisionOS, which Apple touts as the world’s first spatial operating system, allows users to interact with digital content like never before. Its infinite canvas frees apps from the boundaries of a physical display, allowing them to be displayed side by side at any scale. Apple says the Vision Pro is designed for all-day use when plugged in and lasts two hours unplugged. |
